I actually wrote this yesterday afternoon, which is why the answers may be slightly awry for a Monday Morning!

1. What are you wearing?
Jeans, long sleeved orange t-shirt and my comfy slippers.

2. Ever been in love?
Absolutely! What’s the world without love?

3. Ever had a terrible break up?
Ah, yes…

4. How tall are you?
5ft 8

5. How much do you weigh?
Don’t know, don’t really worry about it, although I am a bit squidgey.

6. Any tattoos?
No, I toy with the idea, but think I’m a bit old now.

7. Any piercings?
Just my ears, once.

8. OTP?
I had to look this up in Urban Dictionary as I had no idea what it meant! One True Pairing in fandom. Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler or Doctor Who and Rose Tyler.

9 Favourite show?
If I had to pick just one it would probably be Grand Designs.

10. Favourite bands?
The Beatles, McFly…I seem to mostly like solo artists. Although of course my first band I went to see was The Bay City Rollers.

11. Something you miss?
My Mum, and my Nan.

12. Favourite song?
If I had to pick one…Stella By Starlight by Frank Sinatra…the song I’m named for.

13. How old are you?
In my head 28, but actually the wrong side of 50 is all I’m admitting to.

14. Zodiac sign?
Aquarius

15. Quality you look for in a partner?
Generosity of spirit.

17. Favourite actor?
I’ve always had a bit of a thing for Trevor Eve. Shoestring , Waking The Dead…and I was lucky enough to meet him after a play he was in in the West End – Children Of A Lesser God. Lovely man. Also see question 24.

18. Favourite Colour?
Turquoise.

19. Loud or soft music?
Depends on the occasion.

20. Where do you go when you are sad?
The kitchen…I bake. Which is possibly why I’m a bit squidgey.

21. How long does it take you to shower?
5 minutes.

22. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning.
I don’t have any set routine, so I rattle around in my dressing gown til I decide that I need to go out.

23. Ever been in a physical fight?
Not that I can recall. I hate physical violence.

Eyes, smile, nice bum, a suit.

25. Turn off?
Dirty fingernails, bad language.

26. The reason I started blogging?
To just get some thoughts down on paper – just for me really.

Loneliness

28. Last thing that made you cry?
Feeling lonely.

29. Last time you said you loved someone?
To my son on the phone over the Easter Hols. He went back to Uni early because he had so much work to do.

30. Meaning behind your blog name?
I wanted Stella By Starlight…the song I was named for, so it’s just a play on that.

31. Last book you read?
Bitter Chocolate by Lesley Lokko.

32. The book you are currently reading?
One Secret Summer by Lesley Lokko.

33. Last person you talked to?
Hubby – checking what time we should have dinner.

34. Last show you watched?
Big Bang Theory…love the nerdy humour.

35. The relationship between you and the person you last text?
Mother and son.

36. Favourite food?
Anything Mexican…especially enchiladas.

37. Place you want to visit?
China…would love to see the Terracotta Army.

Away from home? Bristol for a Hen Weekend.

39. Do you have a crush?
Tim Minchin. Funny, musical, red hair…ooh, yes. Don’t judge me!

40. Last time you kissed someone?
Hubby – he’s a lucky man.

41.Last time you were insulted?
When hubby insinuates that I haven’t cooked something very well…I’ve been doing it for 30 yrs and haven’t killed him yet!

42. What instruments do you play?
I can play all recorders, although I haven’t for a long time, and am currently working my way through Piano For Adult Learners as I’m so jealous of my son’s abilities.

43. Favourite flavour of sweets?
I can’t do without Wine Gums.

44. Favourite piece of jewellery?
Diamond Necklace hubby bought me for my 40th.

45. Last sport you played?
Pass.

46. Last song you sang?
More Than A Feeling by Boston in the car earlier…memories! I saw them live back in the day.

47. Favourite chat up line?
It’s been so long…

48. Have you ever used it?
As I’m such an old married lady, I don’t think so.

49. Last time you hung out with anyone?
Friday afternoon tea and a chat with my mate sorting out a trip to the V&A to go and see lovely frocks.
